d'Antoine
Grénier
quinze du mois d'aoust, j'ay inhumé dans
le cimetiere de cette paroisse le corps
d'Antoine Grénier mort d'hier d'une mala-
die assez longue agé de cinquante deux
ans. Il a reçu les sacrements de pénitence
d'Eucharistie et d'Extrême-onction. Presence
d'un grand concours de peuple qui ne savoir
pas signer a l'exception de Nicolas
Fauchere qui a avec nous ainsi qu'il suit
de ce requis.

fifteenth of the month of August, I buried in
the cemetery of this parish the body
of Antoine Grénier who died yesterday of
a long illness at the age of fifty-two
years. He received the sacraments of Penance,
of the Eucharist and of Extre-Unction. In the presence
of a great gathering of people who did not know
how to sign with the exception of Nicolas
Fauchere who with us followed
as required.
