Le vingt neuf de février mil huit cent huit après la publication de trois
bans de mariage faite au prône de la messe paroissiale par trois dimanches
consécutifs entre Nicolas Mathieu agriculteur de cette paroisse, garçon majeure
fils de feu Nicolas Mathieu et de défunte Marie Anne Langevin en légitime
mariage, et Marie Plouf fille majeur d'Hyppolite Plouf agriculteur en
cette paroisse et de Marie Aimable Dupré aussi en légitime mariage, je prêtre
curé soussigné n'ayant découvert aucun empêchement entre les parties surdites
leur ai donné la bénédiction nuptiale après avoir reçu leur mutuel
consentement et avec l'approbation de leurs parents soumettre en présence de
Henry Chapdelaine ami de l'époux et lui tenant lieu de père, d'Hyppolite
Chapdelaine aussi ami, d'Hyppolite Plouf père de l'épouse, de Jean Baptiste Jourde
son beau frère qui avec les deux époux ont déclaré ne savoir signer.

February 29 one thousand eight hundred eight after the publication of the three
bans of marriage announced from the pulpit of the parish masses for three
consecutive Sunday between Nicolas Mathieu farmer of this parish, adult boy
son of the deceased Nicolas Mathieu and of the deceased Marie Anne Langevin in a legitimate
marriage, and of Marie Plouf adult daughter of Hyppolite Plouf farmer in
this parish and of Marie Aimable Dupré also in a legitimate marriage, I priest
pastor who signed below having found no impediment between the afore-mentioned parties
gave them the nuptial blessing after having received their mutual
consent et with the permission of their parents submitted in the presence of
Henry Chapdelaine friend of the groom and standing in for the father, of Hyppolite
Chapdelaine also friend, of Hyppolite Plouf father of the bride, of Jean Baptiste Jourde
her brother-in-law who with the two spouses declared not knowing how to sign.
