Marie MITE8AMEG8K8E aka MITOUAMEGOUKOUE (French spelling)(pronounced: mee-tee-wa-mee-gou-kwee), an Algonquin, was born around 1631-1632 in the "Nations des Ouionontateronon" (Huron word for Weskarini Band of the Algonkin Tribe), in the area between the Ottawa and the St-Maurice rivers in Québec. She was baptized 6 Nov 1650 in Montréal. She died on 8 Jan 1699 and was buried in Trois-Rivières, Québec. She married Pierre COUC dit LAFLEUR on 16 Apr 1657 in Trois-Rivières, Québec. (1)

vi. Marie Madeleine COUC dit LAFLEUR (LEFÈBRE) was born around 1669 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec. She married Maurice MÉNARD dit Lafontaine, on Oct 1681, Boucherville, Chambly, Québec,Canada. The PRDH Family Certificate No. 5378 does not indicate any location, just the date as "before 31 Dec 1684.

Jean was born in 1704 in the parish of St-Jérôme, diocese of Bordeaux, Guyenne France. He died 12 Sept 1776 in Chambly.

Louis Gaboriault was born 1763 in L'Acadie, St. Jean Quebec. He died on 30 March and was buried on 1 April 1816 in L'Acadie. He married Marie Agathe Davigon on 22 Jan 1770 in Chambly. She was born in 1767 in L'Acadie St.Jean. She died on 18 Aug and was buried on 20 Aug 1823 in L'Acadie.

NINTH GENERATION

Jean Etienne Lefort was born 12 Oct and baptized 13 Oct 1778 in Chambly. He married Louise Gaboriau on 20 Oct 1806 in L'Acadie, Québec.

EIGHTH GENERATION

Jean Baptist Lefort Laforest, widower of Angèle Plante married Josephte Bessette on 22 Oct 1844 in Iberville. (9)

Victoire Lefort was born around 1858. She married Oscar Reynolds on 30 April 1878 in Franklin VT. He was born around 1850.

Joseph Reynolds was born 1879 in Franklin VT. He married Georgianne Dandrow in St. Armand, Québec. He was born on 11 Nov 1878 in Swanton VT
