Jean Baptiste SALVAS was born on 1 and baptized on 5 February 1796 at St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. He first married Madeleine THÉROUX, daughter of Pierre THÉROUX & Josephe HÉBERT, on 19 January 1818 at St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Madeleine THÉROUX was born 27 June 1797 at St-Michel and died 1 March 1822 at St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec.(1)
Jean Baptiste then married Marie Jeanne PÉTRIN HOULE on 4 November 1822 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He died on 3 and was buried on 5 May 1883 in St-Robert, Co. Richelieu, Québec. (2)
Marie Jeanne PÉTRIN HOULE was born and baptized on 27 June 1798 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. She died on 14 and was buried on 17 November 1874 in St-Robert de Richeieu, Québec.
Her parents were Joseph PETRIN HOULE & Marie Jeanne CARDIN LOISEAU FRANCOEUR. Joseph was born about 1763 and died on 20 January 1844 in St-Aimé de Masseuville, Richelieu. Marie Jeanne Cardin Loiseau was born on 23 February 1774 in St-Pierre de Sorel, Richielieu and died after 1845. Joseph Petrin and Marie Jeanne Cardin Loiseau married on 1 February 1796 in Sorel, Québec.
Children were:
ii. Michel SALVAS dit Mitchell SULLIVAN was born on 4 and baptized on 5 September 1831 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Mathilde CÔTÉ before 1867. Mathilde was born around 1840. She was the daughter of Brigitte CÔTÉ who was born in 1815. (2)
