16. Joseph LÉVEILLÉE was also known as FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉE. He was born 19 and baptized on 20 March 1813 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Godparents were Jean-Baptiste BROUILLARD and Geneviève DANIS. (12) He married Marie BROUILLARD on 18 October 1831, in St-Michel, Yamaska Québec. Witnesses were Joseph's father Jacques FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉ, his brother Antoine FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉ, Félix BROUILLARD, brother of the bride, Pierre MARICHAND and Jean-Baptiste BROUILLARD, the only witness who signed the certificate. (1)(8) He died on 25 and was buried on 28 April 1902 at the age of 90, in St-Aimé de Richelieu. He was the Town Crier of St-Aimé. (9) He erected the niche of Notre-Dame-des-Campagnes in 1862.(10)(30) He served as "marguillier" (church warden) in 1867. (11)

17a. Marie BROUILLARD, daughter of Félix BROUILLARD & Marie Louise ALEXANDRE, was born and baptized on 23 July 1815 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. She was Joseph's first marriage on 18 October 1831 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (30)

     Children of the first marriage were:

child8 ii. Antoine LÉVEILLÉE was born and baptized on 17 May 1834 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Godparents were Antoine FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉ, his uncle, and Marguerite LÉVEILLÉE BROUILLARD, his aunt. (25) He married Sophie LAMBERT on 20 July 1852 in the Church of St-David, Yamaska, Québec. He was also known as Antoine FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉ. (14) He died on 24 at the age of 45 years and was buried on 27 January 1880 in the cemetery of St-Aimé, Richelieu County, Québec. (15)

i. Joseph LÉVEILLÉE was born on 27 July 1832 in St-Michel. He died on 28 August 1833 at age 13 months in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He was the first born son. (26)

iii. Mathilde LÉVEILLÉE born on 28 October 1835 in St-Michel. She died on 5 December 1837 at age 2 1/2 years, in St-Aimé. (15)

iv. Angèle LÉVEILLÉE FOURQUIN was born 16 April 1837 in St-Aimé; godfather Félix BROUILLARD; godmother Marie ST-GERMAIN. (16) She married Modeste RÈCHE RAICHE , son of Modeste RÈCHE & Marie COUTURIER, on 25 April 1854 in St-Aimé, Richelieu, Québec. Angèle died on 20 October 1912 in St-Aimé de Richelieu. Modeste was born on 27 April 1834 in St-Michel and died on 31 March 1919 in St-David.(3)

v. Louis FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE born and baptized 27 March 1840 in St-Aimé. Godfather was Louis LEBRUN; godmother was Angèle BROUILLARD. (16) He married Angèle GAUCIN dit ST-GERMAIN , daughter of Antoine GAUCIN & Thérèse CAYA, on 11 February 1861 in St-Aimé. Angèle was born on 14 May 1833 in St-Michel. He died on 28 August 1907 in St-David. Angèle died on 31 March 1919 in St-David.(6)(2)

i. Marie Delia FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉ was born 26 September 1868 in St-David d'Yamaska; died 14 February 1944 in Arctic, West Warwick, RI. She married Eugène Aimé BROUILLARD , son of Louis BROUILLARD & Josette PARENT on 3 November 1890 in St-David.(18) Aimé was born on 6 February 1871 in St-David and died 4 October 1950 in Coventry, RI.
   Their children were: Roméo, Raoul, Almeria, Rosella, Rosanna,  Eva and Léonard. (17)
i. Léonard Joseph BROUILLARD was baptized 15 August 1909 in Yamaska, Québec. On 24 November 1931 in St-Jean-Baptiste Church, West Warwick, RI, he married Marie Rose Lillian SOUCY, daughter of Louis SOUCY & Georgianna AUCLAIR. Marie was baptized on 3 March 1912 in Warwick, RI.(21)

ii. Rosanna BROUILLARD was baptized 10 January 1902 in St-David, Québec. On 6 June 1921, in St-Jean Baptiste, she married Joseph Omer LANGLAIS, son of Joseph LANGLAIS& Delima DANIS. Joseph was baptized 21 June 1901 in St-David.(22)

iii. Rosella BROUILLARD was baptized 5 September 1900 St-David. On 24 Nov 1927, she married Hayden Joseph DODD, son of Arthur DODD & Florence HOPKINS on 24 November 1927 in St-Jean-Baptiste Church, West Warwick, RI. Hayden was baptized 17 November 1927 in Arctic, RI.(23)

iv. Roméo BROUILLARD was born 14 Aug ust1891 in St-David and died 28 November 1926, Arctic, West Warwick RI. He married Blanche R. MARTIN, who was born 24 September 1894 and died July 1980, West Warwick, RI. (24)

v. Raoul BROUILLARD was born 14 February 1897 in St-David and died March 1978 in West Warwick, RI. (24)

vi. Almeria F BROUILLARD was born 24 November 1898 in St-David and died 4 December 1985 in West Warwick, RI. She married John Henry DODD, who was born 26 September 1893 and died January 1976 in West Warwick, Kent County, RI. (24)

vii. Eva M BROUILLARD was born 14 October 1901 in St-David and died 3 August 1982 in Narragansett, Washington County,RI. She married Aimé W. LAVALLÉE 8 January 1920; they divorced. She then married James E. RICHARDS. (24)

ii. Adelia FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ married Louis BROUILLARD , so of Louis BROUILLARD & Josette PARENT on 26 July 1885 in St-Aimé. (19)

vii. Eléonore LÉVEILLÉE was born on 2 December 1838 in St-Aimé de Richelieu. She died on 17 April 1842 at the age of 3 years, in St-Aimé. (15)

viii. Hermine Emélie FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE was born on 5 December 1841 in St-Aimé. She married Narcisse PARENTEAU , son of Narcisse PARENTEAU & Angèle TERROU on 18 June 1860 in St-Aimé. Narcisse was born on 3 December 1838 in St-Aimé. Narcisse and Emélie immigrated to Rhode Island after 1867. Narcisse died on 10 December 1907 in Riverpoint, Kent County, Rhode Island.(6)(3)(31)

Michael VERIER & Lucy PLANTE, on 17 May 1882 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Aimé was born in 1858. (31)
Eléonore PARENTEAU was born on 6 April 1863 and died on 4 March 1865 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec.
Joseph PARENTEAU was born on 27 July 1865 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec.
Charles Léonard PARENTEAU was born on 5 September 1867 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec.

ix. Baby Anonymous LÉVEILLÉE, a daughter, was born and died 21 and buried 23 October 1843 in St-Aimé. (15)

x. Joseph LÉVEILLÉE was born and baptized 20 October 1844 St-Aimé. Godfather was Joseph BROUILLARD; godmother was Marguerite FOURQUIN.(16) He died on 11 March 1852 at the age of 8 years in St-Aimé. (15)

xi. Narcisse (Narcyse) LÉVEILLÉE was born and baptized on 10 December 1846 in St-Aimé. Godfather was Narcyse BROUILLARD; godmother was Geneviève SALVA. (16) He married Marguerite LALANCETTE, daughter of Louis LALANCETTE & Marie FORCIER 21 February 1865 in St-Aimé de Richelieu. (6) He was a "marguillier" (church warden) in 1907-1908 for St-Aimé parish. Marguerite was born on 27 July 1847 in St-Michel and died on 26 December 1911 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Narcisse died on 2 March 1913 in St-Aimé. (10)

xii. Marie Célina FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE was born and baptized 20 April 1849 in St-Aimé. Godfather was Louis PÉPIN; godmother was Adélaide BROUILLARD. (16) She married Louis VILLIARD, son of Jean VILLIARD & Julie LALANCETTE on 27 February 1865 in St-Aimé de Richelieu. Célina died on 28 September 1912 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. Louis was born on 2 September 1842 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis died on 19 March 1928 in West Warwick, Rhode Island. (6)(31)

He married Marie FORCIER, daughter of Antoine FORCIER & Geneviève FOURQUIN on 28 November 1871 in St-Michel, Yamaska. Marie was born on 18 June 1852 in St-Michel and died on 24 July 1919 in St-Aimé.(5) His second marriage was to Emélie DESROSIERS LAROSE, daughter of
Jean Baptiste DEGUIRE LAROSE & Olive Fourquin LÉVEILLÉE and the widow of Paul LAROCHELLE on 12 July 1921 à St Robert. Emélie was born on 14 May 1854 in St-Robert and died on 25 January 1943 in St-Pierre-de-Sorel. Aimé died on 19 August in St-Michel and was buried on 21 August 1936 in St-Aimé.

xv. Joseph LÉVEILLÉ FOURQUIN was born and baptized 27 August 1855 in St-Aimé. Godparents were Antoine FOURQUIN and Sophie LAMBERT (16). He married Mathilde Élise FORCIER, daughter of Antoine FORCIER & Geneviève FOURQUIN on 2 August 1875.(5) Mathilde was born on 2 May 1855 in St-Michel and died on 20 August 1923 in St-Aimé. His second marriage was to Mélina PAUL HUS on 17 September 1925. Mélina, the daughter of Joseph PAUL HUS & Henriette MARTIN, was born on 10 August 1859 in St-Aimé. Her first marriage was to Alfred CÔTÉ on 9 August 1909 in St-Aimé. Joseph died on 11 February 1943 in St-Aimé. (3)

17b. Joseph's second marriage, on 13 April 1874 was to Émilie AUTOT (AUTOTTE), daughter of Julie AUTOT. There were no children. Émilie died on 13 April 1897 in St-Aimé, Masseuville, Co. Richelieu, at the age of about 73 years. (1)(2)

17c. His third marriage, on 16 September 1897 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, was to Luce CARTIER, daughter of Joseph CARTIER & Catherine GIGUÈRE. Luce's first marriage, on 12 April 1866, was to Louis SCHMID, widower of Victoire FORCIER. There were no children. (13)
It is probable that Luce died at St Jean-de-Dieu and that her body was donated for medical research. It was an Inspector of Anatomy that declared her death in December 1902 and again in the burial record in November 1904. Return
