1744. Guyon Denis CHIASSON dit LAVALLÉE first married Marie BELLIVEAU before 1666. He then married Jeanne BERNARD, from St-Jean-Batiste de Port-Royal and inhabitants afterwards of Beaubassin, around 1666. His third marriage was to Marie-Madeleine MARTIN on 7 October 1683 in Québec. The date 6 October 1683 is listed in the Contract Genaple. (1)(2)(3)(4)

1745. Jeanne BERNARD was the daughter of ?? BERNARD & Andrée GUYON.

Children with Jeanne Bernard were:

i. Gabriel (dit Pierre) was born around 1667. Gabriel was a domestique of Michel LE NEUF de LA VALLIÈRE according to the Census of Les Mines 1693; he was 26 years old. He married Marie SAVOIE, daughter of François SAVOIE & Catherine LEJEUNE around 1688. He died on 10 April and was buried on 11 April 1741, at the age of 75, in Beaubassin. (1)

Gabriel and Marie had 11 children: Michel, Pierre, Jean-Baptiste, Marie-Josephe, François, Pierre, Abraham, Françoise, Anne, Marguerite, Judith.

ii. Françoise (dit LAVALLÉE) was born around 1668. In the Beaubassin Census 1686, she is listed as Jeanne LAVALLÉE. She married Pierre MORIN, son of Pierre MORIN & Marie-Madeleine MARTIN, on 8 November 1682 in Beaubassin. She died before 17 October 1734. (1)

Françoise and Pierre had 11 children: Pierre, Marie-Barbe, Marie, Sébastin, Michel, Denis, Agathe, Jean-Baptiste, Antoine, Charles and Marie-Françoise.

iii. Sébastien was born around 1670. He married Marie BLOU, daughter of Jacques BLOU & Marie GIROUARD, around 1693. He died before the Census 1703. (1)

Sébatien and Marie had 4 children: Jacques, Marie, Agnès, and an unnamed son.

iv. Unnamed Child listed in the Beaubassin Census 1686. (1)

v. Jean (GIASSON) was born around 1674. He married Marie-Anne LE MOYNE, daughter of Jean LE MOYNE & Marie-Madeleine de CHAVIGNY, on 12 Nov 1697 according to the Beaubassin Register. He was buried in Montréal on 24 January 1719 at the age of 45. (1)

Jean and Marie-Anne had 14 children: Jean-Baptiste, Jeanne-Angélique, Marie-Anne, Unnamed, Marie, Jean, Jacques-Ignace, Marguerite, Marie-Josèphe, Anne-Catherine, Marie-Louise, Joseph, Joseph.

vi. Michel was born around 1676. He married Marguerite MOURIER, daughter of Jean MOURIER & Marie MINEAU, on 30 June 1706 in St-Jean, Île d'Orléans. He died on 19 March and was buried on 20 March 1759 in St-François-du-Sud. (1)

Michel and Marguerite had 10 children: Isabelle-Élisabeth, Marie-Josèphe dit Josette, Marie-Hélène, Michel, Louis, Marguerite, Louis, Joseph, Jean-Baptiste, Marie-Charlotte.

vii. Marie was born around 1678. She married Michel POIRIER dit de FRANCE around 1692. She died before 14 November 1740. (1)

viii. Anne (dit LAVALLÉE) was born around 1680. She is listed as Anne LAVALLÉE in the Port-Royal Census 1693 at the age of 13, living with her uncle Jean BELLIVEAU in Port-Royal; again with her uncle in 1700 and 1701. She married Jean BREAU, son of Vincent BREAU & Marie BOURG between the Port-Royal Census of 1700 and 1701. (1)

1747. Marie-Madeleine MARTIN, daughter of Pierre MARTIN & Joachine LAFLEUR was born in Sillery on 29 June 1666. He second husband was Michel DEVEAU dit DAUPHINÉ around 1693. (1)

Children with Marie-Madeleine MARTIN:

ix. Angélique was baptized in Beaubassin on 27 October 1684. She married Pierre CARRET around 1702 in Beaubassin. She died before 30 April 1742. (1)

x. Geneviève was born around 1685 as she is listed in the Beaubassin Census 1686 as 1 year old. (1)

xi. Marie-Madeleine was born around 1691. Her first marriage was to Jean POTHIER, widower of Anne POIRIER around 1709. Her second marriage was to Joseph de LA FORESTERIE around 1726. She was buried on 28 August 1759 in Très-Ste-Trinité de Cherbourg at the age of 70. (1)

xii. Anne was born around 1693. She married Jean PINEAU around 1710, according to A. Godbout. (1)
